Front end suspension

Hi there, I'm thinking of changing suspension set up on my pickup (1973 1110 Harvester Stepaside 258 rwd) I've been talking to a few people over here in the UK most trucks use a chevy/mustang clip front just wondering if any one out there has done this if so any do and don'ts about doing this, coil overs on the rear axle?
Cheers Steve

What are you trying to achieve here? If just better handling, the factory bolt in anti-sway bar turned my T'ette from a tuna boat into a sport truck. If you're going to swap in a LS motor or some hi HP mill, then the better brakes are handy.

Hi mate, just thought about changing the stance of the truck, Lower it down a bit, already got a disc conversion done but possible chance of a Ford 289 with a Kenne Bell supercharger strapped on 🤔but that would be at a later date. Any input of lowering would be appreciated 👍
Cheers Steve

The classic way lowering was done was to move the front axle from the bottom of the springs to the top (I'm not a fan of this for a bunch of reasons). Another way is if your front leaf springs have the eye up, get a set with the eye down or have your main springs rearched with the eye down. That'll get about an inch and a half. The front end of my T'ette was to low and I swapped springs to raise it up.
