Can I use a 304 flex plate on a 345, or are they different animals?

While the flex plates are identical in design for the sv engine apps, each was originally balanced to it's respective engine on the transfer line.
So most likely an imbalance will be "induced" when boneyarding these items amongst engines, but not a severe as when swapping around flywheels.
A new replacement service part flex plate will be "neutral balanced" so that it does not affect engine balance overall. It will have a balance weight on it, but the balance factor used is neutral so that it serves all engines as a replacement.
