Looking for some advice, I have a 72 Scout II 345, 727, d20. I recently bought a motorhome and have flat towed my Scout driveline disconnected for long trips. I recently joined a local hunting club that is 45 miles from my front door. If I put the tc in neutral and lock the front hubs, am I safe for a 45 mile trip one way flat tow? I don't mind doing a disconnect for a long trip but for short trips, weekends, overnighters I didn't want to have to unbolt the rear dl. Thanks for any advise, I do understand the lubricity issue but shorts trips seem to be ok with the dl connected.
