It's only September but the holidays will be here before you know it! Time to start planning our December toy run. Here are some of the variables we need to nail down;
1. Date: how about Sunday, December 2nd.
2. Place: shall we pick a new destination or revisit an old one?
3. Multiple events: after last year's event, cary expressed a desire to "take it to the next level" and have a north bay/east bay/santa cruz thing happening at the same time.
4. Lunch location: the fifties has been good to us. I don't see any reason to change.
5. ???????????

Good news.

The diner is our base.
Any station will work. Maybe in time we will hit up each fremont station.

We can explore the multi locations. Erik works for novato fire.
 
5. Challenge nor-cal scouts and IHSTO to have an event and collect as many toys as we do.
6. Invite other local car clubs to join us. This would be a good way to build alliances for other events, such as road trips, etc.
7. Publicize! I'm currently learning how to do press releases. Wouldn't it be cool to see ourselves in the paper the next day?

First draft of this year's flier. I've dumbed it down from last year for obvious reasons. :icon_lol:
any suggestions/ comments?

James? His card never made the move from shop to container.

I was hot on this last year, but for obvious reasons, things have changed since then. I don't have the time to concentrate on this. My time is devoted to getting the shop together.
