Feb/March trail ride?

call me about this!

Never heard back from ya what ya ended up doing after the first compressor dump.

I installed another sandeen style one with an oil catching filter. It burned up on the last trail run and finished it self off after I was home. I'm going to run an eletric one untill I can figure out how to mount a york. Then I'll have terry build be a bullet proof one......:winky:

I have a york connected to one of terry's manifolds, it works awesome. I do however have mixed feelings about my oba. It seems that my Scout is now used by everybody in the neighborhood as a portbale air compressor. I get calls all the time... "hey, can you bring your Scout over and blow up my tire?" :mad5: :dita:

I dont need the manifold. I need him to work his magic on the inside so it don't spit all it's oil out. Although I hear the yorks don't do it quite as bad as the sandeen does..:mad5:

I've had the same york in my Scout(s) since 1999-2000. I bought it at a junk yard from a Ford ltd. I 'built' and installed the system in the driveway off my apartment in corvallis -- so it is super high tech with no expenses spared!

When the switcvh works and the air lines hold -- it works like a champ.

I'm still in. But I need to replace my compresor again. This last one burned up after one trip..:mad5:

Ive got fix my tranny mount bolts as they pulled out of the threads in the bottom of the tranny, it was probablly all that power of that 4.3 :winky:

I think it is contagious.... It started with binderbound's t-case. 3 of my t-case bolts were so loose by the time I got home... Your tranny...

Blame dan!

Just get a jy york, add a coalescing filter, keep some oil in the crank case, and you'll have a bulletproof setup!:icon_mrgreen:
put a little slick 50 in there for when the oil level gets low.

I do have some trick oil rings for those, but they are big $$$
the problem with those is ya can't run the thing long enough to seat the rings. It takes a couple of years of "occasional" use, to get 'em to seat.

I had coalescing filter on my last compresor and it still burned before I could get the oil back into it. I have a couple of yorks on the floor of the shop. I guess I need to work harder at mounting them...

A little trick is to plumb the filter drain into the compressor suction, with a 1/4" tube to "recycle" the oil.

sorry, my powers of esp haven't been worth a crap latley.
I have a sanden laying around if ya need it.

I don't have esp but I do get espn...:winky: I have an eletric one ordered that should be here Thursday. If it doesn't show up I'll come get that one. What do you want for it?

I want a replacement sometime, when you come across one.
It bolts up perfectly to the ctd.

Please see the attached pdf map for the trails at browns camp -- if history is any indicator -- they will be out of trail maps at the lil' store and at the trail head.

Also -- I have given away my last copies -- so we are down to printing our own and/or relying on our gps units... :nono:

so if you happen to have a color printer and laminator -- feel free to make up some maps for the rest of us

So like a Scout hp wise?

sure what the heck -- as long as he doesn't run out of gas on us.
Atv, motorcycle, side-by-side - bring 'em!

I might have my co-worker in his toyota showing up (former warn team trophy challenge competitor...) so if I said no to you I'd be a hypocrite to the 10th power.

Well hes at least got as much hp as my little pony, and with the fuel injection he does really well on gas.
