FA8 Torsion bar supension tie rods

I am needing to replace the passenger side inner tie rod end on my 62 c100 pickup which has the fa8 torsion bar front end. My mt-110 parts mannual calls for 1 each of the long and short tie rod ends on each side. I assume a mirror image placement. The long tie rod on the drivers side is the inner tie rod.

The adjustment tie rod sleeve on the passenger side is longer to compensate for a short inner tie rod. Thus it appears that I have two short tie rod ends on the passenger side. There appears to be adequate room in the sleeve to replace the short inner tie rod end with the longer tie rod end, and still make any allignment adjustments. The passenger side tie rod sleeve is 8.25" long and the drivers side tie rod sleeve is 4.75".

Could this be a factory install? Or did a po do this to use two short tie rod ends on the passenger side, which are less expensive?

My main concern is safety and ability to allign the front end correctly. Should I just replace with a short tr end, or should I try to find the correct sleeve and replace with a long tr end?

Thanks. Your input is appreciated.
