Engine dying during idle ?

So I was in the middle of a radiator flush and the engine died . Not sure why . Tried to start it back up n got a really sluggish cranking ... Reer.....reer...... Reer. Truck has gas ... Anyone experience this ? Let it sit for 3 mins , fired right back up . Has oil , has fuel ...
 
Guessing that you May have splashed water on the distributor cap. A miss or cross firing could have been occurring. After sitting it dried out and ran fine.
