I decide we need a thread for this run.
This trail is about 50 miles northeast of fresno. You will need a truck that is in very good running condition. This is because of the high altitude and the length of the trail and no bail outs, by passes and lack of parts near by.
From what I have read it's doable on 32" or better, but you need sheet metal protection. I.e. Rock sliders and good bumpers. Rear quarter protection would be good idea too. Tow points, one locker and winch is recommend.
Gas is also a concern, as I have a stock 19 gallon tank. I could carry a couple 5 gal containers to make sure I don't run short.
