Looking for a replacement doorswitch for my Scout II, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, what type of lamp is used under the dashboard when the door is ajar?

Thanks

Depending on what year you have it will take one of two different switch's. From roughly 78'-80' we use this switch which retails for around $16 -

For earlier versions we carry this switch which is more expensive at roughly $33 each. This switch is yet to be posted on our online store but will be in the very near future.

I need the earlier model (second picture). Can you drop me a line when it is available?

Do you know what 'fitting' the under dash courtesy light uses? Was thinking swapping it for a led.

Both door switch's are in stock and ready to ship. Honestly I don't quite understand your question about the light.

I gotcha. The bulb that we normally use is a #53. Awhile ago my headlight supplier roundeyes sent me a led light kit to try out on my Scout. I have been more than happy with it as the 12 light led grid is very bright compared to the factory stock bulb and consumes 90% less power. I should have have these in stock before the end of the week. Cost will be $29.95 each and you will need three(or four of them for dual dome light setups) of them in order to do an entire Scout.

Here is a picture of the kit -
