Door Question???

How do I tell if I need new hinge pins. I have tried to adjust my door numerous times and I can't get it to align properly.
 
If you lift up on the door and it moves up and down you need new hinge pins. With the heavy Scout doors pretty much every one needs new hinge pins at this point in order to get the door to align properly
