door glass wiper/felt installation

Hi all, my first post here. I have a '68 1200C with good doors, no rot at bottoms, and want to install new window felt/wiper kit as well as the seal all around to keep rain out from inside the door to prevent rust/rot.

How hard is it to install the wiper/felt kit? does the door need to be completely dissembled and the glass removed?

Yes and it's not that hard to do. Rain still gets in though. Biggest thing you can do is to keep the drains in the bottom of the door clean and open. Spraying some 3M cavity sealer in there helps to.
