do i need a drop pitman

i have a 4" RC lift with 4* shims. i have a new steering box with a borgeson joint. i also have a CPT frame x-brace. steering seems to be "pretty" good. began to wonder if my drag link angle was too much. i'm using the oem pitman arm. the pics are a little hard to decipher. should i be using a drop pitman?

Got a 4" lift on my Scout too. What I notice is in stop and go traffic it steers to the right when slowing and left accelerating. Hard breaking is more extreme. If you can live with it and compensate no big deal.

Drop pitman arm will reduce bump steer, but they are quite a bit shorter than stock which negatively affects your turning radius - can't turn nearly as sharp.

We do not recommend a drop pitman arm with the stock steering configuration as the shorter pitman arm will not allow for full turning radius. If you have a SOA Spring-Over-Axle lift with hysteer, then yes we will put a drop pitman arm that is shorter than stock as the hysteer tierod/draglink will generally be designed for a shorter pitman arm.
