I recently bought a 73 1110. Looking the thing over and there is disconnected wires all over the place. Any idea where these wires should connect?

also there is a silver box under the dash with 3 prongs on it that has no wires attached anymore.

Most everything on this truck works minus the fuel gauge, so doesn’t seem
Like these disconnected wires and devices do much.

any ideas? Thanks

I would suggest that you purchase the service and parts manuals for the truck (from this website). With a little reading, you will find that the Electrical section of the service manual will have the correct schematic diagram for the truck on which the wires for each circuit are numbered. When you look at the disconnected wires, they should be (unless the PO cut and sliced them) numbered so you can figure out what they're for. Every wire has a from-to so you should be able to find what they're for. A decent meter should also help verify with wires status.

If any of the circuit ID numbers printed near the termination points of any factory wire are still legible, then it is a simple matter of referring to the circuit ID legend in the service manual to discern identity and purpose.
