Diesel Motorcycle For Sale or Barter for IH Parts

Diesel Biker

New member
Hello all, I'm david here near sacramento. I'm in the process of restoring a cute IH/lambert tow truck seen here: youtube - broadcast yourself.

To finance this project, I'm selling one of my toys I've built. A rare russian kmz/dnepr. I've also posted on dieselbike.net forums, see: dieselbike.net • view topic - hatz diesel dnepr for sale

I've been building diesel motorcycles for awhile, but I want to focus all my attention on my little tow truck.

Feel free to ask questions, also all I have is this little iphone, so if pictures or youtube videos don't show, please let me know.

Thank you

This looks like the one from amboy! Tow-mater from cars....:icon_lol:

filling station owner in amboy is suing to get royalties since they basically stole the filling station and the desert scene with out giving credit. Must have been a few of these on 66. And since they are only a few miles apart it makes you wonder. Good luck on the sale.

The essex towing 1957 a130 International lambert wrecker has been in the fenner valley area since the closing of the helms bakery in late 1969. It was most likely used to asssist in the relocation and salvage the many vehicles left on this stretch of route 66 as I-40 was to be open in late 1972, early 73. It became the "essex towing" truck in 72 as it remains today. The tow truck has been in and thru amboy, CA many times over the years; most recently was in March of 2011 durning a brief photo shoot while it was sitting on a car hauler.

Thank you for your interest and comments.
Dave
