I have options for both, just trying to gauge which way I should go and what people tend to like best that have done it and maybe some pro's/con's. I've heard DBW is nice if you are running AC so that you can program a throttle bump increase. DBW also cleans up the firewall. I don't plan to change to a rowdy cam or even away from the stock necessarily, so I assume throttle response issues wouldn't be a huge concern with DBW?

DBW is what I'm doing on my c900/Trailblazer project. One less hole in the firewall is always good. My project won't be done till next year so I have an opinion, but little experience.

I'm in the which ever way you can run cruise control the easiest.

I have drive by wire. But with no real good VSS options for manual trans/ transfer case.

I've got the dakota digital vss box for the Tcase but it keeps breaking speedo cables (bad output angles on a dodge np205)

There's also an issue with manual trans set up's and stock ECM cruise not working with an overdrive manual in 5th gear. Hptuners issue.

No cruise friggen sucks on long drives of 3+ hours.
