Im sure its tacky and in poor taste to plan your own birthday party, but what would you expect from me??:icon_mrgreen:

I turn 30 on March 16th. So, to honor the date of my moms c- section, I'm having a 'party'. Thursday March 12 I will be heading east to my mothers empty vacation house in crooked river ranch. The house is furnished and has lots of parking area. We would use the house as a 'base camp' of sorts. Wheeling in shwartz canyon is 20 min away. Riding is 30 min away at the north millican ohv area. There will be trap shooting and other desert meyham. Terrebon is 10 min from the house. Redmond is 15 min. Bend is half hour. My plan really, is just to gather all my friends and family that mean the most to me and have a good time.

Post up if your interested so I know what #'s I'll need to plan for.

Im in the neighborhood, live on the ranch myself still. I dont know if I'll have my own 4x4 to play along (and wont be a Scout/IH if I end up with one by then... Unfortunately lol), but provided I'm able to get time away from work I'd like to play somehows.

Nah....I planned my own party last year and it was the near the best birthday ever!! I did what I wanted to do with the people I wanted to invite. I'll be there in spirit, as I'll be working.
 
Little update.

Friday is the bike trip out to 4 corners. All day fast paced desert ride. Friday night bbq/drinking/sobe bomb/campfire

Saturday is the truck trip out to shwartz canyon. Saturday evening is the big get together. My family will be there and hopefully a lot of you guys! More bbq/drinking/ 3 fingered sobe bombs/etc...

Sunday is recovery/cleanup day.

Lots of room for everyone. Not a lot of beds or blankets so bring your own if your staying over. We'll have lots to drink but bring your own if you drink something fancy, like pabst...

I hiked shwartz canyon last week. From who I have talked to, this is the easy loop

Yay! Team fat shit will be in full effect as well. Hugh, berne, possibly Matt will all have thier 'big' rigs as well. Looking forward to seeing you guys!
 
My Scout is not going to make it --- and amber has been soooo swamped I don't think she is going to make it --- so I will probably not be making it....

I suck!

That's too bad. We just put in horse shoe pits and got the fire pit all cleaned up. You could always bring the little car and just hang out Saturday night.
