Nice pic of a rusty axle, along with the rig sitting on logs to get it up in the air. And the point of it is?

I suppose you came in on the end of a conversation with someone else. My original ra-20 axle gave up, and I tried to source the parts to repair it but no luck. I decided to use a Dana 70hd. I have better choices of gearing, and I got rid of the old bud wheels. Now, I have Chevy 8 bolt with a 3.73 gear. Some guys trailer there trucks everywhere I drive mine.

That development was in a different thread that probably not all that many folks are following. So I think kimball, and indeed everyone else could be forgiven for wondering about the point of this new thread with a random photo and no accompanying explanation. Had you tacked this photo onto your prior thread, I think it might have been a little easier for folks to connect the dots. I am glad that you found a solution to your axle woes.

It all good. My next challenge is disc brakes for the front Dana 70 closed knuckle. I am going to post a picture of the project truck; therefore, if anyone else wants to build like mine the info will be out there.

Indeed. At the time, I didn't realize that this was in addition to your other thread which I have read through. As trevor mentioned, it would have been easier to connect the dots if the photo was posted in that thread.
