Dana 60 and 70

Ok rookie question working with a 73 Scout II. The stock Dana 30 is pouched big time, will a Chevy Dana 60 line up with stock spring location on my Scout, or is their major modification to be done. As for the rear that should be pretty straight forward, wright?

The short answer is no, they will not just bolt in. Check this thread out is has some discussion on different axles and options.

Yeah I see some of the delema, but all is good the previous owner came by last night with a Christmas gift, he brought me a Scout 44 front axle with all the trimings, he told me he forgot about it, it was tucked away in the back of his shop.
