Dana 27 Parts Hard to Come By

Does anyone have any information on where I could get a ring and pinion set for my rear Dana 27 axle? It's going on my 61 Scout 80.
I opened up the cover and it spit out a few teeth. There's a used set on ebay right now for 190$, but the pinion has at least one chipped tooth.

Worst case, could I borrow the parts out of the front axle? I just want to get rolling again...
 
Pulled the cover off and while it was sitting outside some moisture must have gotten inside. Lots of surface corrosion. I won't bother digging any deeper. There will be pitting for sure. Sorry .:(
 
After some digging I see that the 27 and 30 Dana's share the same ring gear od 7.120. Any chance that the r&p are interchangeable?
