Hi all,

Tried out my new creeper and was poking around beneath my scout. I noticed all kinds of slop in the output shaft of my T-case, I guess one or both bearings didn't seat when I installed the tail piece.

I am going to have to remove some shims. Do you think that I can do this with the T-case installed?

and yes, I know that I have to remove the rear driveshaft.....

I have. The rear output comes out as an assembly, or module. Loosen the nut for the yoke 1st. Follow the book closely on setting the endplay.
