Dana 20 mated to ford zf5

I am doing a build on a 74 Scout ii and I have a 7.3 idi with a zf5 lined up but the issue I am having is i do not want to change axels, but with the factory ford transfer case the front drop is on the driver side but the pumpkin for a scout is on passenger side so I was going to use the dana 20 transfer case off of my t18 tranny since it has the front drop on the right side. but I can not find an adapter plate for the zf5 to the IH dana 20 since the zf6 has the six bolt and the IH has the Texas 5. has any one done this swap before and if so could you give me a hand on what I could do for my weird swap decision.

Jeep dana 300 or atlas is your answer. Or a dodge np205, gm 208/ 241/ gm 205.

Is yours a dana 44 front or a dana 30?
Its a dana 44 front I believe ,and the other option I might go for is a divorced np205 just seeing if some other people may have had a custom adapter made, I am also going to try and custom order one as well

Advanced Adapters or Novak are likely the standard places to check. A divorced 205 would be hard to fit in a 100" wheelbase scout.

I run a dodge np205 with a NWF ecobox doubler in front of it but it only adds a few inches to the length of the 205. (behind a 6 bolt GM round pattern 4x4 NV4500.

To run a divorced 205 you would also need a 2WD ZF5.
