D20 PTO question

How complicated is it to set up a pto off a Dana 20? Is there a thread that describes the build? What kind of winch connects to a ramsey pto? Silly question...but how do you connect the pto coming off the bottom of the transfer case to route to a winch? Do you have to set up the winch on the front or rear? Is this a better type of winch than an electric winch? Thanks for any help!

1st off you need to make sure the gears will mesh,then you need to make sure they will engage an disengage..you can mount them for either front or rearward motion.just gotta have room for the shaft,if not you'll be making a few different shafts,with carrier bearings for different angles,providing what ever gets in the shafts way while you're mounting them.some of the older pto's can be takin apart an swapped end fo end for different direction.
