D-Series 3/4t Stepside pickup @ Windsor Pick-n-Pull

Kinda sad. Truck didn't look bad at all. Mostly surface rust. Still fairly complete. Fuel tank from behind the seat has been taken.

Still a lot of good parts left on the ol' boy. Just as an fyi, these trucks did not have a behind the seat tank. The primary tank was under the cab tucked against the frame on the passenger side, but the fill nozzle did run behind the seat and through the floor on that side. The auxiliary tank, when so equipped is a fender fill on the driver side.

Good to know. I know very little about the full size stuff. I wasnt even sure d series was the right designator.
I assumed the tank was back there cuz the seat back was removed and tossed in the bed. Bet they were just after fuel filler plumbing since it was gone.
I've tried twice now to get the Holley points distributor out of it but it's stuck in tight. If its still there next time I go I'll bring better chemicals and a bigger hammer.

I called the windsor pick n pull today and they said there was no internationals in inventory right now is it possible it was mis labeled or did they crush it already. I was going to drive over this weekend but hate to drive an hour and a half if it's already gone. Just wondering how long ago you were there? Ed

I was there new years day. It isnt listed on the web site either but I noticed the inventory on the web wasn't very accurate. I would be surprised if it was crushed all ready.

Well heres hopeing the lady dosen't know what shes talking about gonna make it a day trip this weekend and try to get some parts.

I got the left rear fender off of it bed was ok just not quite worth taking the time and trouble to remove and find enough people to help carry it. The floor boards are rusted through also not as bad as some I have seen but not worth saving and trying to reuse.

Wish I could find some rear fenders like that here! Look like they are similar to my honcho sportside.
