I have looked thru the posts in fabrication and have not seen anything regarding factory measurements of any scouts.
What I am looking for is factory true measurements for a 1972 Scout II.
I have a friend that can get me sheetmetal at cost and can bend it for me for free of charge, but my 72 Scout II is sagging and bulging where it shouldn't, and I need some good numbers to put the body where it is suppose to be.

And I doubt very seriousely that the measurements that you are looking for won't be readily available. The kind folks at IH Parts America, that also provide this forum for us IH finatics, sells about every piece of pre-fabbed sheet metal that commonly rots out or gets damaged. online store.

Roger, I know ihparts sell these parts, but what I am looking for is demensions for how wide the vehicle is at the doors, the liftgate, ect.. The driver side is sagging and bulging, and I need to know where things need to be so my doors will close properly. There are some parts that I will need to buy, but the majority of the flater parts I can get made at a considerable savings$$$$.
Right now the bottom measurement at the lifgate is 55", and the top is 56-1/2". So I am assuming the measure ment should be 55". The driver and passenger doors are a little more tricky because of the angle it has to the floor. Is the top of the body suppose to be 55" or wider? What is the distance supose to be at the bottom of the door?
The po had patches all over and made with very thin metal so nothing is where it should be. Most of the issues are with floor panels, and the rear quarter panels where they meet the doors. Which is why my doors are sagging and bulging, (mostly the drivers side).

I currently have 2 s-II's in my own fleet of the same year. I might get a couple measurements. But I won't side step IHPA for the hard work they do in providing the parts for us. It May take me a few days, due to the fact of working full times during the week, taking away my time from wrenching on scouts

I understand the amount of work that IHPA puts into their product, but at the end of the day it comes down to money. If I purchased all the body parts I need to fix this rig I would spend a couple thousand, and I don't have that kind of money.
Basically everything inside has moderate to significant rust and or holes. As you can see from the pics there are structural issues in several areas. The only part of the rig that is stable at this point is the front end.

You should purchase an IH body builders book, contains diagrams and measurements for the Scout II and other IH vehicles. I think they sell for around $50.

Where is that Scout from minnesota ?? You are looking at serious bucks and work just from what the pics are showing and it only will get worse as you dig into the rust areas not to mention all the body cab mounts and cross supports. It May be more cost effective tofind a new tub or go glass tub and beat all rust now and in the future. I've been down this trail with one of my 79s luckilky my 80 and 70 came home rust free. Not trying to be a downer just giving you a heads up it aint going to be cheap I've done a few broncos f25os and mustangs and firrbirds and blazers and the old Jeep or willys thrown in here or there. Its always worse than it looks when it comes to rust.

Thanks bitterwinds. It's from Pennsylvania, I'm sure it has seen more than it's share of salt and calcium from our winters.
I have looked into fg but I can't afford the $4000 price tag plus shipping. Rust free/or minimal rust tubs are almost non existient on the east coast. So it will proly take me longer than I originally had hoped.
