Custom Back Seat? - S800-BACKSEAT

I was wondering if there was any possibility of getting a slightly (1.75") narrower back seat produced. I don't have a Scout... But like the idea of fitting a Scout-type back seat in tub of my 1966 land rover.

Unfortunately, the distance between a landy's wheel arches is 36.25"... Instead of the 38" on a Scout. Otherwise, I think it would work perfectly.

Thoughts?...

Cheers!

Edit: okay, now that I've had a chance to examine the seat construction a little more closely... I'm sure I could modify the components myself. Would it be possible to purchase everything except the wood? (the right/left supports, tube rail, etc.) I've tried searching for the individual components on your site & got nothing.

One question though... How deep do the seat supports rest below the top of the wheel arches? My wheel arches rise only 8" off of the tub floor. I see that a Scout's arches are 11" high. If the bench supports are deeper than 8" they will touch the floor & it's time for plan "b." (sigh)

One can be made that is shorter and narrower to fit your cruiser. The side brackets are 10" tall so just let me know how much shorter they would need to be. Cost would be an additional $40. Thanks.

Thanks michael,

let me take some measurements and get back to you. What is the best way of reaching you directly? Pm? Email?

Cheers!
