I stopped by cresent salvage in cresent, or because the guys always has cool IH's. He informed me that he needs to make a big loan payment and the price of crushed cars is bringing $200 a ton. Needless to say, he's crushing the IH's to make weight, this week! Most of them are pretty beat 2wd trucks but there is a 75 pickup with amaizing sheet metal, a couple Scout II's that were pretty picked over, some Scout 80's that were picked over, and this late 60's 4x4 travelette. Most straight and solid one I have ever seen in person. Unfortunately the guy thinks its worth $500 in scrap so thats the going rate. Let me know if you need me to do anything. I can haul for a modest fee.

I would buy it just to save it from cetain death but I dont have the expendable income to toss around on a distant future project.

That t' lette is worth a lot here in the east,if them guy's crushed it for 350-400 $ they wasted a bunch of $$,they need to quit sitting around an waiting for people to come buy parts an do some research on selling that old iron ! Jeff:dita:

Jeff, it was saved and is being restored now by a nice lady in montana. The other IH's in the background are pretty rough and dont have much left to them.
