Crank Bolt

Can someone just verify that the crank bolt on a 345 is removed counter-clockwise. I'm applying lots of torque, and just want to be certain.

Thanks,

Like ron said and an impact gun or hillbilly impact May be needed. Hillbilly impact = a long ratchet and mallet :arf:

Watch out if u hit a ratchet an it don't flip an come back at you? Thats a no no ! Lol,btdt many years ago,an got a busted lip from it ! Only if I knew way back then, what I know now ! Jeff:out:

Got it!

1000 ft/lb, 3/4" drive impact wrench still wouldn't do the trick. Used a chain-pipe vice grip, (one of my favirite tools), on the pulley and a 3/4" drive breaker bar with 6' of steel pipe. She's off.

Glad I decided to loosen this bolt while it was still in the Scout.

Thanks.

That's what prompted my original question. I thought that if I were tightening the bolt, I'd have been in real trouble.
