CPT S800 Suspension Lift Front Leaf Spring Install

I recently purchased the CPT Suspension Lift for my 1970 Scout 800 SR2 with a 304, Dana 44 rear and Dana 30 Front Axle.
No issues getting the rear installed.
For the front however, are my springs to short?
I can't figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong.
The backend of the front leaf spring is loosely installed, front shackle loosely installed but when I bring the leaf spring up to connect to shackle I can't get it to line up.
Almost an inch off.

The little flat piece of steel welded to the back side of each shackle hanger should be removed. Then you will get it to go together.
