Looks awesome!
The springs are 2.5" wide and it looks like it comes w/2 spring perches. Can you use this kit for the stock SUA configuration?
If so, what needs to be done to the center section's perch to accommodate the 2.5" wide spring?
Can the stock perch on the driver side be used or does that need to be replaced?
What size center pins does the kit come with?
I have a 2" body lift on the truck now, is there any inner fender clearance issues w/the new shock towers?
I also saw a picture somewhere that had a front swaybar but didn't see them in the store. Can that be incorporated in the kit? If so, how much?
The truck will spend 99% of it's life on asphalt and I'm looking for as plush a ride as possible. Chris pucci mentioned using rubber bushings instead of poly to help. What type does the kit come with?
Finally, what do recommend for the rear as far as springs?
Thanks!

You have lots of questions that seem particular to your needs. Please call our shop and we will be glad to answer all of your questions.

Hey Jeff,
here are some pix of the springs as best I could.
I'd like to keep the truck close to the same height if possible.

After our conversation I think the plan of attack will be the reverse shackle kit w/the 5" hangers, some new leafs & shocks and a new front drive shaft.
What is the deal with the boomerang shackles? Necessary for a mostly on-road truck where I am interested in the plushest possible ride?
I checked online for some Skyjacker kits and your pricing looks awesome. Do you recommend a new pitman arm with either a 2.5" or 4" kit?
You also mentioned a "low profile" u-bolt/shock mount kit?
The final piece will be a cut & turn. What do you recomend for a caster angle?
Thanks

Looking at your pictures I can not tell what springs that you have. The rear springs look like Skyjacker yet the fronts look like triangle. Again hard to tell.

The boomerang shackles are used when there is a clearance issue with another part of the frame. Some will use these shackles for decorative reasons but really they are only needed when a clearance issue arises(normally when installing longer leaf springs).

I do not recommend a drop pitman arm with any spring under axle suspension lift as it changes the steering ratio quite considerably thus netting in a much larger turning radius.

If you plan on offroading or have broken/cracked Ubolt plates then now would be a good time to invest in stronger hardware.

As for castor angle we recommend 4.5*-5* with about a .3* split in castor from right to left with the right side having slightly more castor. This will help keep the Scout driving straight on our crowned roads.

Thanks Jeff,
so in your opinion, with conventional 5" lifting shackles, a 2" body lift and the mongrel leaf packs running on 33"s; are the pictures enough to say either 2.5" or 4" skyjackers will keep me at roughly the same height?
I can run a string along the top leaf and measure it's length? Run a tape measure from the top of the axle tube to the bump stop mount?

Not sure what you mean by mongrel? I would go with the 4" lift springs to try to stay as close to your existing set up.
