We will meet at 9:00 at roths grocery in silverton. Those coming from the south could meet us at the gilkey covered bridge which is just out of albany. There is room to park at the south end of the gilkey bridge and we will be there at 10:00.
We will pass through 5 covered bridges and have lunch at the roaring river county park if it is rainy (covered area) or roaring river fish hatchery if not. The hatchery has viewing of all sizes of rainbow trout and feed vending macines. I even spotted a cornell pump and a sturgeon.
We will return through lyons and mehama. 100 miles round trip with flat road and steep up and then steep down. All paved. Beautiful country. You will need to pack a lunch on this trip.
