Conversion from 727 to T-19

I've searched and need help? I've got a 78 s II 304, 727, d-20. I want to convert to 345, t-19, d-20. I've gotten a t-19 & bell housing from a 75 IH p/u. T-19 148(?) is cast in housing. Will it work? I also have a donor s II with all manual trans. Mechanicals (but it's a 3-spd.). I've read about the bullgear. Will the gear from the donor work? I'm doing a frame off, so any fab needed won't be an issue. Also, if someone could pm me, I'd like to know how to post pictures.

Thanks, Robert. I guess what I'm not understanding is the tailshaft issue. The t-19 I have doesn't have what I would really call a "tailshaft". It looks more like a flanged bearing right behind the driveshaft yoke. I guess I'm thinking of a long shaft in a housing set-up? After looking at the picture from the thread you indicated, if that is the rear of the tranny, I think my is the same?? If so, is that the correct one for the Scout II? That's why I was hoping to "learn" how to post a picture. Then I'd be sure!??!!?

I think the "issue" is that the adapter that the transfer case bolts to on a sii 4x4 transmission (see michael mayben's post #2 in the link.) is not a "direct bolt-up" to the back of a full size transmission.

Robert, thanks for everything, man!!! Looks like I've got a 4-spd. I won't be able to use?!?!?! I'll start looking for the right one. Any ideas? If anyone needs the one I have, it's available!!
