Hi looking for a preferably complete rear Dana 27 with 4.27 gears that I can put in my project '63 scout 80 to get it driving. I'm on the central coast of California.

Thank you!

I have an offset D44 setup for an 80/800 with 4.27 gears.

The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because of the T18 install with a twin stick D20 and I have a matched set of SII D44's for it.

I had a Waggy Dana 44 offset (non-tapered) narrowed up for my 1961 Scout 80. The Waggy axle is the right choice if you want to run the stock tranny and transfer case. You need to center-up correct? If so, I can see why you want to go with the scout II axles. I will probably install the Saturn overdrive unit on mine eventually. That's a nice axle you have and I'm sure someone will want it.

The 27 is not a good axle for anything but light off-roading.You really want to upgrade the front to a 44 as well and if you do this, go with a front disc brake axle. A 44 front will make necessary altering the perches and steering but very much worth the trouble and expense. 44s will make your 80 a tough little goat.
