Cheep Scout II on CL

I think that is vancetater who is selling that. I think he made a posting about it here in the forums some where

I followed up with this vehicle. The poster did not respond to my inquiry.

I tried contacting the poster of that free Scout twice and I got what you did = nothing. But a friend of mine, who aint much into scouts, got a response from the person. My friend also mentioned that the ad was posted again two days later but was immediately flagged by some one. As I mentioned in the other thread, that whole post screams fishy business.

When things seem too good to be true they often are.

By the way I might want some Scout II axels and undersand you May have some. Hit me up if you are looking to sell some.

The ones I have are ear marked for my current projects. I currently have one on the bench that's torn apart, waiting patiently of fingering out new seals for 35 spline axle inner seals. The only other spare front 44 axle I have is a full width axle that came out of a mid 70's gmc, which I have plans to cut down the tubes and build up for one of my own scouts.

I might have access to possibly a few other full width front 44's. But that remains to be seen, since it's been awhile that I been down to the yard.

That is a lot of axles. I will find some and my needs May have changed with the recent purchase of a sr2. It is amazaing how so many of us end up with so many IH products.

Yea. They do have a tendency to multiply. I did have a couple more laying around. But I got tired of tripping over them, so I scraped them for some soda change. I'm right across the bay from ya. There are a couple other fellow Scout owners that I know who live in sf.

I am getting to know the guys from babs. One of these days I will make it to one of your open garage work days. Thanks.
