Chargin problems

Hi guys, I just pulled my 1980 sd33t out from winter storage and she's not charging! I just put a new alternator on and nothing changed. The gauge is reading around 11 where it used to be about 13/14. All I have is one wire from the alternator to the gauge then I believe from the gauge to starter. Any methods of testing? Thanks for any help.

I just got done dealing with this problem , for me it was the wire coming off the alternator to the gauge, get a multi meter and see if current runs through the wire,
on another note check your ground wire going to your block it May be corroded,
I am in no way an electrical master but those are the basics I think

I checked the battery for volts and it it around 12..with the Scout running it's about the same. I checked right of the alternator and it is still the same. They tested the alternator and it was good but now its seems its not wth!!
