charcoal can delete?

Is it possible to delete the coal can and just plug the lines from the fuel tank and the ones into the carb?

I've been thinking of that too. Some things to deal with are the venting of the fuel tank and fuel bowl on the carb. They vent into the canister. The fumes are stored in the charcoal and then sucked into the manifold when the engine is started.
