Its gone now but I dont remember mine having the bulge at the signal lights.

Daniel...wifeepoo might be more impressed with your fab skills if you would rig up a shifter like I have in our s80.

That is pure awesomeness, I was going to make a mount behind my seat for my shotty, but now ive got to rethink my location choice.

My signals were different and mine is a 1970. This is before the front was cut and with the old front suspension, the new setup should give a lot more flex.

I just watched a video of you on you tube, what is the drivetrain in that and what is your final reduction? Those boatsides will make a nice difference on the trail I watched you on. By the way whereabout in oregon is mcminville or however its spelled?

Im not sure on final ratio, I know its too high for sure. Hoping to fix that with higher axle gears so it gives me a little more street power as well. What I have is a 4.3 v6 to 4l60e to a stock dana20 with 4:11 axle gears. The skinny pedal normally gets me where the crawl ratio wont.

mcminnville is about 40 miles south of portland and 30 miles west of salem. You going to come out and wheel with us????

You mean lower gears. Higher number= lower gear ratio. You should have 4.88s at least with the 35"s you have. You could probably even go with 5.13s and still be good on the street because of your 4spd auto. My 700r4 has a 4th gear of .70 I think your version is the same. That overdrive gear allows you to use some pretty low rear end gears and still be streetable.

By higher I meant higher number, but lower gears. Its so confussing.:mad2:

it isnt going to happen anytime soon though, I priced it out to be about $500 for 5.13's from here welcome to complete off road They seem to have the lowest prices I could find.:icon_xp:

Ha! You will be waiting a long time. I'd have to hire a teenage asian kid to hook that thing up to my Scout. Probably make him my permanent co-pilot. :icon_eh:

I'm currently stuffing $$ other places in uber... I have a plan. Shooting for a naches unvailing.....

You can do way better than that, check with Jeff here or dave the gear man.
Iirr the 5:38's that went into the girl Scout were $185/set. Dave has used gear sets for less.

I talked to dave a few months back and he had a smokin' deal on some 5.13's. He said they were military surplus.

The 4.3 is a awesome little motor, I think it will do a lot better when I can tune it. (link above)
