Carb Spacer

I am having a senior moment (well I am a senior but) I forgot how this spacer on my 345 goes- is the small holes to the front and is the opening from large to small here are a couple of pics and how I think it should go - the front of the engine is to the right of these pics Thanks in advance

Is that a spread bore carburetor to square bore intake adapter? If so it only lines up one way with the larger/smaller holes on the carb base plate itself.

ok soooo do the small holes go to the front? and does the tapper part go down (large to tapper down?)I am thinking of just dumping this spacer- I had a stroke a few years ago and man what used to be easy is pretty tough sometimes

The picture you provided looked fine. On a spread-bore unit the larger holes are located in the back towards the firewall. On the spacer you want the taper going larger to smaller. You had it right in your picture.
