Wow! What a meeting! Not a good night for them to mess up our room reservations. We had well over 40 people with 3 new members. A special thanks to chris and amber for bringing out the youngest IHSTO member. That’s right folks max pucci made his first meeting. He even sported an IH shirt.
for tonight’s program greg foster put together a bunch of pictures from past obdr trips. He and phil then talked us through the pictures and shared some of the great stories from the trips. Seeing all those his on the road was a great motivator for me to get myself on one of these trips. The upcoming one to the steens mt area this summer is going to be awesome. This is one of my favorite areas in oregon.
Our next two road rallyes are as follows.
March 20th On this rallye we will visit the western antique aeroplane & automobile museum in hood river. We will be driving part of the way there on the historic columbia river hwy. Index this should be a fascinating trip as well.
April 17th This will be our stock friendly wheeling trip. We will be wheeling some of the trails in the tillamook state forest ohv area. It will be a great day of wheeling and a good chance to get your IH off the road and see what it can do.
Watch for more info to be posted concerning both of these trips.
Be sure to Mark your calendar for next month’s meeting. It will be Thursday April 1st. I'll make sure we have our big room back.
we will have a presentation by the one and only “mr. Scout” Mike fiock. Some of you May recall a few years back he was collecting pictures to take to china. Well he was building a relationship with what is now our sister club in china. Mike will share pictures and stories of what wheeling is like in china. This should be a fascinating presentation. I’m sure we will all come away with a new appreciation for the trails and parts we have available here. So don’t miss it.
