CAD Drawings.

I mentioned it in another thread - but I thought I would follow up in a seperate thread....

Anywho, I am working up some ultra basic cab drawings of the Holley 2 barrel to TBI adapter. I am no cad designed, but I have stayed in a holiday inn, so if you have any advice I'll take it!

I just sketched up a 3d model of the adapter made from 5/8" material. I'm also going to do up a .dxf 2d file as well.

Questions:
what size countersink goes under the gasket? Taper? Size? Etc?

What size hole do you drill for the 5/16" threaded studs?

Thannks!

I have a TBI to Holley adapter drawing at the cnc shop as we speak.
I went with an open center with tapered sides vice the tapered holes to allow the sides to equalize.

The countersink is a standard 82*.

Are you doing this as a one off or looking to produce them for sale?

I have no intention of making anything other than a cool drawing :d

if I can help someone else out with my poor cad skills, I will give it a try. If you want to 'own' them - I will gladly give them to you.

Chris,
the drawing looks good.
I May be seeking your talents in the near future.

Here's my latest prototype of the same style adapter.
1 11/16 TBI bore to the 1 9/16 2 barrel manifold bores.
I just need to adjust the depth of the countersink.
