Building a new suspension under my 68 1200C 4x4 - issue #2

Hello again. Installing new springs for all 4 corners was needed however after the install, left me with 2" of shock travel (fully extended) in the rear & 3" on the fronts. Shocks are Monroe Gas Magnum, 21" eye-to-eye. This may not be a concern since we're just working here with a bare frame & nothing of weight has been added, or should I consider finding a longer shock?

There is virtually no weight and it shouldn't be a concern until the truck is put back together. You can jack up the frame and see if it moves down.

Thank you Zaed - kinda thought the weight would flex the springs down enough to give those shocks room to work. Its always good to get another opinion. Can't make it to Springfield this year but hope to see your booth in Ft. Wayne.
