Brake proportioning valve question

I have a pretty bad leak from the brake proportioning valve on my 1978 Scout. Every time I apply the brake pedal brake fluid pours out of a small hole on the valve. Please see the attached image. I apologize that you will have to zoom in to see the text that I added. Does anyone know how or why I would be leaking brake fluid out of the small hole on the valve? Is there a set screw or purge valve that has malfunctioned? Also, there are two other sensor hookups that are on the valve that I do not quite know what they are used for or what they do. Any help would be great. I have found a replacement valve online for about $150. Can anyone recommend a place to purchase a new valve for a good price? It is obvious that I need to replace it, but it would be great to know how or why it failed. Thanks for your help.

Thanks,

angela

Thanks Jeff. I'll be ordering the part from you soon! I'm still wondering why or how I would be leaking brake fluid out of the small hole on the valve? Is there a set screw or purge valve that has malfunctioned? Also, there are two other sensor hookups that are on the valve that I do not quite know what they are used for or what they do.

Thanks,

angela
