I just got a B162, 2WD, BD264, FA-40 Front Axle, RA25 Rear Axle, (Dual Tire),Power Brakes. Does anyone know any sources for brake cylinders, shoes, etc? I have parts catalogs but none of the numbers match the usual sources. It is going to be worked on at a shop, and I'd like to have the parts ready once they start on it.

I had a B160 dump truck for a few years. In all likelihood you're going to have to rebuild and reline what is there now.

Yes, that's what I have a B162 dump truck. I see that front brake hoses were replaced. That's all I know so far. Did you end up doing any brake work?

It was a ranch truck, I had the front drums off and adjusted the brakes. Also replaced the hydro-boost. Those brakes would lock up the first couple of times I used them and I'd have to back the truck up to unlock them. I was surprised how well that BD264 moved that big truck around.

What are your plans for your truck?

That sounds like t he problem on my 1300B. Maybe I'll try that. Was it difficult finding a hydro boost? Not sure what I need yet. Mostly take it to shows but it's always handy to have a small dump truck around.

The hydro-boost was 27 years ago, it was a rebuild from Napa. Cost around $400. Nice patina on your truck.

We can have the hydro-vac's rebuilt at IH Parts America.
