How do you keep killing stuff? It seems the more you tinker with your Scout, the more stuff you find to replace. If it worked for the past 30+ years what are you doing different to kill it?

I think because its 30 years old thats why its going out. That an probly all the brake stands an burn outs ive done.

I was going to try an drop in a 318 with TBI but the the 727a is way different from the old 727 so it wont work unless I had a 727a transfer case but then I want a 5 speed so id needa find a manule trany an transfer case for the 318

My 727 has been plucked from Scout like a nasty tumer!. Now I have my fly wheel in and im doing my clutch linkage

Trany swap went great. Its a little tired in the third an fourth gears. But other then that its great. It just creeps in in four low.
