Bored this weekend?

this weekend I will be taking both my Scout II's to mayben's shop to work on them. There's quite a bit that I'll be doing switching stuff around to create a frankenstein hybrid of the two. Mike has been hospitable enough to offer his expertise with my project this weekend. If you are bored and need something to do, I'm sure we could use some hands.
(mm- I hope I'm not out-of-line by posting this here.)

It's been a long while since I have been down to maybenville. My wife is gone all weekend and I am alone with the kids and danni. Maybe a nice long drive is in order.

The bryce and doc krew had a highly successful (and entertaining) weekend visit here at binder u.!

Bryce needs to start a thread including the background story on these rigs! Quite unique!

I managed to pick apart both rigs really well so that bryce and doc are greatly intimidated by the future workflow. In this case, ignorance is not bliss, now they are armed with enuff knowledge to scruu up anything in an appropriate "po" manner.

But, the front axle is no longer gonna fall out of one of 'em...and they will now both start and run. Can't believe these piles made it all the way down here and home with no help from aaa!

Each rig has exactly 237 crappy points that need to be addressed. And 7/8ths of those points are identical and common to all Scout II relics.

No reason to just swap crap from one to the other????

Bryce has a plan now but this is his deal to go into.

But at least he now has one semi-functional carburetor and distributor to use going forward.

I've been away hunting and just saw the thread. The weekend at binder u was extremely helpful!!! We had a great time down there, but wish it had have been longer. Surprisingly, we did make it all the way home and I continue to drive them around town here without breaking down completely, more than once anyway.
