Bolt in Bulkhead

I've got one out of an 800, I don't know if they are the same or not. It's kinda rough around the hinge area but rebuildable.

Sorry, brain fart, was thinking of the tailgate I have, I might have a bulkhead also, I'll check and let you know.

Well, I got off my butt and went out and checked and it's not in bad shape. A couple of areas of rot through but repairable. I've attached some photos. Make me an offer and it's yours.

Shipping might kill me. Can you check with the post office for shipping of 3rd class parcel post to 92325? I would like to get it but shipping is a concern. If you give me weight, dimensions, and your zip I can check with the p/o.

Well I finally got back out there and measured it. It's 52x22 and is about 2 inches thick. It weighs 20 pounds not including any kind of packing, my zip is 40067. Hope this helps.

If your's is in decent shape he'd be crazy to pay to ship the one I have to California.

Ok, here's mine.

The rust spot at the bottom is not rusted through.

The only issue with mine is that some previous owner replaced the floor in the bed along the way and welded the new floor to the bulkhead. I had to grind the welds to get the bulkhead out. You can see the remnants of the welds in picture #3. Those silver strips at the bottom of the bulkhead are the left over weld material. I was careful not to grind through the bulkhead when I removed them. A little more grinding is necessary to clean them up, but that shouldn't be too hard.

The original color of the Scout was the green color you see. Someone along the way painted the Scout red, and painted the inside of the bed black, which is why it has so many colors on it.

The bulkhead is a solid piece, and with a little cleanup would look great.

I have also included a picture of the front bench seat which I need to get rid of also as I am installing some bucket seats in my Scout.

Let me know what you think.

I'd like $50 for the b/h. Throw in another $10 for the seat. The seat is in real nice condition. No tears. I had a cover on it for the last 14 years, and it protected it real well.

Based on your zip code, you're about 110 miles from me (I am in 92131).

Let me know.
