Body and Paint Sticker Shock...

For my 1974 stepside pickup... Well, I guess body work has gone way up for cash paying customers. A number of good body and paint guys working on the side have quoted me some astronomical prices. Having done different restros over the years, I know when I am being snookered.

I have a line on a 74-75 t-all.

My question dejour is this:

is everything from the front doors forward (doors, fenders, hood, windshield, front valance, etc...) interchangeable between t-alls and pickups?

I can save some money swapping sheet metal vs. Paying to straightening out a few small problems...

Yes, they are for 74 - 75

74 -75 full size (pickup and t/a) have a different front profile on the hood, different grill to match and possilbe slight difference to the valance; otherwise, the same 69 - 73 full size sheet metal also works (think the mounting of the fenders May be slightly different, also).

Need to pay attention to rust in the area of the hood hinge mounts on the inner fenders.
