Blinker problem

I have a 75 Scout II and my right blinker works fine, left blinker blinks, but very slowly and with large gaps between blinks, also the green light doesn't show that the blinker is functioning when the left signal is on but it does work for the right one. Is there a easy fix? I haven't really dug into the issue yet, but if someone experienced the same issue I was hoping for a starting point.

Always the first thing to do regarding turn signal issues is to check the grounds!!

Pull all four lamps out of the body and clean and verify each ground point. We're not just looking at the lamp in question, but clean and service the ground point at each lamp.

Then make certain that all four bulbs are the same bulb.
