I won't be able to wheel till next summer/late spring. Gonna be way to busy at work. But next summer we will :rockstar:

Sigh
currently I'm in the middile of doing a motor swap in a 62 Scout 80. Then I will be out of town most of next week with family getting stuffed on prime rib and turkey.

If it's not rainin I'm probably going up on black Friday for the day just to check it out, never been there before and kind of new to the wheelin thing. No lockers yet but can probably still make it through 3/4 of the stuff there. Have a sizable hole behind the right front I need to fix before things get worse, so trying to keep it dry for now. Looks like there's some serious stuff goin on Saturday, might be worth camping Friday night to check things out on Saturday. They can laugh at my truck all they want, have pretty thick skin. Be leaving from fremont.

Herd hh was closed today so that scared me off I have appointment tomarrow morning but could head down to hollister tomarrow if they will be open .

They were open Friday, I went down for first time and did some mild weelin. Good on steep, good on rocky .... Rocky and steep not so much - need lockers. Lower ranch filled up early and all the campsites are full. Gotta call and ask 831 637-3874. Make sure and ask about upper ranch. I called about 8 and thet said they expected to stop letting more people in by 11. Then I asked about upper ranch and they said no problem, come on down. Think I saw maybe 20 trucks/jeeps max all day. Mudders will be disappointed, it's pretty dry. New upper obstacle coarse is freekin scary.

Made it down for the afternoon . Weather & conditions were perfect . Just damp enough to keep the dust down . I was realy expecting mud but the trails were just right . Mud pit had a decent crowd all day . Ran into a few of the s.c. Rock crawlers minus tator . They took a practly stock Nissan extera down tank trap . Sligt carnige insued . The mccray road tripel black diamond is prety wild . It looks like it was built for rock tractor . They even put in a cool tunnel any how sory we missed you hondo . Sure you had a good time if Friday was anthing like today . Any day wheelin is betar than any day at home espicaly when its as nice a day as today . We'll hook up next time and take you up the jungel trail .

Yes we cut the wheel wells out to fit 35 in boggers on the Nissan xterra. I have some videos but the quality is very poor. I was goin to go but we went wheelin at my friends private property. Had fun I rode my crf 50 into the mud pit and flooed it out and the Jeep we got died in the middle for about an hour. It was a great weekend everywhere.
