Bell Housing Numbers

Im needing a little help with a part. I have a 196 out of an 800 and I found a t-18 4 speed to go with that. These are going into an 80. Im stuck trying to find the parts to mate these two. I have a few photos here and im asking if this is the correct bell housing for my project.

The bell shown in your pics won't work behind a 152 or 196 "lay down" engine lee. That is a sv bellhousing (v8). It's much deeper in configuration when compared to an I-4 bell.

This picture shows a bell for a 152/196 for use with the three speed tranny on the left, compared with the four speed bell on the right with a t-18 bolted on. The two units likewise are totally different in configuration. But each places the appropriate transmission in the correct mounting position.

This is another pic of the same assembly. The clutch release arm has been modified so that the lever can mount pointing straight up. The hydraulic slave will mount to a fabricated bracket for actuation.

Not sure if I am helping or cluttering the issue. But on my stock arrangement of a 4-spd and a 152 engine, the bell housing is numbered "306922-c1"
