Bed Removal HELP

Ok I'm in the middle of removing my rusted bed and was wondering the best way to weld new bed back in. I have mig but no spot welder. I'm using air hammer to get bed out. All the ideas and help would be grately appreciated. It's a 76 Scout 11.

After we removed our bed we did one foot pieces to place by the wheel wells. Then we had another piece to put in the middle. The outside was tack welded in and the middle section is bolted in. This allows for easy access to the gas tank and other areas that are under the truck
